Vision: Network of water trails on the Colorado River located within the lake Mead National Recreation Area.

Mission: To create a designated national water trail, promote the recreation experience, protect the water’s natural beauty and resources, and engage the public in its stewardship.
The Lower Colorado River Water Trail Alliance is an association of public agencies, local businesses, non-profits and individuals that are committed to the protection, enhancement and promotion of water trails within the Lake Mead National Recreation Area. The group serves in an advisory role and provides support, develops recommendations, exchanges information, and shares input to lake Mead NRA and the Bureau of Reclamation, who are responsible for water trail management
